No entiendo por qué la gente dice "estás al horno" si la frase es claramente "estás EN el horno."

An oven glove, or oven mitt, is a insulated mitten that's usually worn in the kitchen to protect the wearer's hand from hot objects like ovens, stoves, cookware etc. Oven gloves can protect the hands against heat for short periods of time. Fabric gloves consist of heat insulation surrounded by cotton fabric, usually consisting of decorative patterns. Newer oven gloves are made from silicone instead of fabric, which makes them water and stain proof [1].
Me parece espantoso cuando alguien dice "me voy de ...", los puntos suspensivos haciendo referencia a otro sujeto.
El caso particular más horripilante de esta aberración linguística se me ocurre:
"Me voy de mi tía"

Martín, peor es Voy de tía (sin el me). Andy, puse un pollo al horno con papas...(?)
Yo tambien siento que es un insulto al buen gusto cuando dicen "Estoy al horno". No me gusta para nada.
